As the maestro of the Axel Springer Ideation Council, I not only helped find new ideas from our talented colleagues but also worked my magic to coach them in pitching their concepts & refining them for maximum impact. With my design & concept prowess, I crafted a transformative innovation process that, quite frankly, would have remained a mere daydream without my wizardry. Together, we conjured a culture of innovation that propelled our company to new heights of success.

IDEAS ENGINEERING WEBSITE

As a Product Owner & Photography Ninja -

I oversaw the development & maintenance of Ideas Engineering Corporation's website while also unleashing my inner ninja as the company's photographer. With a keen eye for design & aesthetics, I collaborated with our UX team to bring our website to life & capture stunning photos of all our employees.

Thanks to my efforts, our website became a powerful tool for engaging with customers & showing off our awesome team.

ELECTRONIC FOTO ACCOUNTING - EFA

As a Product Manager rockstar, I saved the day for Germanys biggest tabloid with EFA - the ultimate image accounting tool!

No more missing images for BILD - EFA tracks everything, generates credit advice, and pays photographers and agencies pronto.

It's a game-changing system tailored just for the BILD photo editorial team. Say cheese and let's get tracking!

Axel Springer Knowledge Graph

As a Product Manager, I created a magical tool called the Knowledge Graph - a tool that's like having your own personal genie!

The Knowledge Graph takes different pieces of information & links them together in a way that makes sense. So if you're reading an article about cat memes, for example, it'll show you related content from other sources, like videos of cats playing the piano or hilarious cat-themed GIFs.

CONTENT EXCHANGE PLATFORM

As a Product Manager, I developed the Content Exchange Platform - a game-changing solution that allows over 15,000 editors across the globe to share an enormous stream of content. This innovative platform makes content sharing within the Axel Springer group a breeze.

With the Content Exchange Platform, editors can easily collaborate and access a wider pool of content, making their jobs more efficient & productive.

NEWSFINDER

As a Product Manager in maintenance mode, I took on the Newsfinder - the ultimate tool for staying on top of the latest news and trends. With a simple search using keywords or hashtags, employees can access real-time overviews from a wide range of sources including social media, third-party publications, and press agencies. And with its automated translation feature, you can easily keep up with foreign publications too. Stay ahead of the game with Newsfinder!

PICUSA

As a Product Manager, I spearheaded the development of Picusa - an innovative tool that displays all image uses of "WELT" publications, simplifying fee calculations for digital & print content & subsequent accounting for controlling. With Picusa, users can quickly compile & export one or more search queries per UseCase in a single report, offering maximum flexibility with minimum time investment.

Picusa offers full daily control over all photo uses in the context of "WELT".

BLACKLIST BELL

As a Product Manager, I was thrilled to develop Blacklist Bell - an innovative software tool that acts as a second quality gate for journalists, editors, and the chief editorial teams. In the fast-paced world of journalism, accuracy & attention are always key, and Blacklist Bell was designed to help prevent any errors or issues that may arise.

With Blacklist Bell, users can manage their own blacklist & identify articles that include any blacklisted words.

CONTENT POOL

As a Product Manager, I led the development of the Content Pool - a semantic pool for consistent content collection & distribution across the organization. With the help of NLP, the pipeline enhances content by identifying entities such as cities, people, and organizations, making it easier to learn more about published materials.

One of the key features of the pipeline is the ability to request content metadata from the content pool, allowing non-ideas-enginnering services to use the data for their own purposes.

ART DESIGNS

As a Neofonie Project Manager, I oversaw the development of an eCommerce platform for selling art, getting inspirations from curated art pieces & gather a personal collection of art.

The design of this eCommerce platform is supposed to convey the spirit of the Artissimos South Californian location. Most interestingly the company sells embellished art which was a major factor when designing & developing the platform, the embellishments & the curation of those applied to the art is the USP of Artissimo. I established a connection by travelling & supporting onsite in Los Angeles while my colleagues developed out of Berlin.

Toggolino CLUB

Once upon a time, a Neofonie Project Manager was tasked with revamping the popular children's gaming & learning platform, Toggolino.de. I teamed up with with great developers to make the site more visually appealing & technologically advanced. The new & improved Toggolino.de now has over 120 games that teach children how to count & write. With its responsive design & Magnolia Enterprise CMS, it's now accessible on all devices, and even works offline. The children's hearts are now racing with excitement!

LEICA FOTOPARK

As a Neofonie Project Manager I supported Leica as they wanted to give their worldwide customers a digital experience & we delivered with the Leica Fotopark - a premium online platform for storing, editing, and managing photos.

Not only can users interact with others & rate photos, but they can also order prints directly from the platform. Leica is now not just a camera manufacturer but an all-in-one photo service provider!

Immobilienscout

As the fearless Product Owner for the Immobilienscout Content Management system, I led the charge in migrating our content to a new system within a year. Armed with my requirement-gathering wand, I summoned the needs of all units & partnered with an exceptional development dream team to make the magic happen. Together, we waved our collaborative wands & transformed the content management landscape, leaving no spell uncast in our quest for a seamless migration within the given timeframe. The quest was completed in time.
